Woman receives human finger for Valentine's

Police have charged a New York woman's ex-boyfriend "in connection" with
a gift of part of his finger which the woman received in a package as
a Valentine's Day gift. Exactly what crime this is supposed to represent
is a complete mystery (being creepy not exactly being a crime.)
[update, a better story on this has turned up, the man was charged with
"aggravated harassment", the penalty of which is no doubt to have
your fingers amputated.]

Figure skating is rigged! OMG

The same people who expect us to believe that figure skating is actually
a sport are horrified to learn that the results are actually rigged!
Faster than you can utter "say it ain't so", the Russian delegation and
the French delegation and various other delegati have denied the charges.
But more to the point, figure skating is just fucking dancing.
