Egyptian sues international Jewry for Exodus theft
Jewsweek Magazine | Submitted by: Soylent
"Dr. Hilmi's lawsuit is ostensibly being filed against 'all the Jews of the world' for recovery of property allegedly stolen during the exodus of the Jewish people from Egypt approximately 3,300 years ago. Citing the Torah, Dr. Hilmi is demanding, presumably on Egypt's behalf, the return of 'gold, jewelry, cooking utensils, silver ornaments, clothing and more,' not to mention interest thereon, taken by the ancestors of today's Jews 'in the middle of the night' -- a 'clear theft of a host country's resources and treasure, something that fits the morals and character of the Jews.' According to Dr. Hilmi's mathematical computations, which include an annual doubling in value of the material in question, 1,125 trillion tons of gold are owed by the Jews for each of the 300 tons he estimates was taken. And that doesn't include interest, which he claims, without explanation, should be calculated for 5,758 years."

Proven techniques of Japanese gangrape clubs
Brisbane Courier-Mail | Submitted by: Nick Yates
"The club's main activity is to organise wild parties almost monthly at Roppongi clubs such as Velfarre, attracting up to 2000 participants each time who buy a ticket for between 3000-5000. After a mass party, members take about 100 attractive girls to another club where they ply them with alcohol. Then, the gang members select five or six drunken girls and take them to the club headquarters where they take turns raping them. The serial rapists had a manual on how to organise a party, sell tickets, sweet-talk girls and then calm them after the rapes. In order to claim the sex is consensual, they have forced the victims to smile for pictures. ... Junichiro Kobayashi, one of the arrested Waseda students, reportedly said to a victim's boyfriend: 'Look at this picture. It was consensual.'"

FCC categorizes Howard Stern Show as news program
Wire Services | Submitted by: Crazy Quagga
"Even though shock jock Howard Stern's radio and television show features scantily clad women and raunchy chatter, regulators on Tuesday ruled it a news program, exempting it from equal time rules on political coverage. The staff decision by the Federal Communications Commission opens the way for the show to book two of the sexier candidates for California governor: Hollywood he-man Arnold Schwarzenegger and porn-star Mary Carey. A media watchdog group immediately denounced the FCC ruling, calling it a reversal of decades of U.S. media regulation designed to promote fairness in election coverage and an informed public debate on government policy."

U.S. Army stretched to breaking point
govexec.com | Submitted by: kade
"The Army recently conceded that, for the first time since the all-volunteer force was established in 1973, as many as 45,000 soldiers who are now serving abroad may have to go on back-to-back deployments. A Congressional Budget Office report this week said that the Army cannot sustain an Iraq occupation force of the present size -- 150,000 troops -- beyond March 2004 without getting assistance from international forces, more National Guard units, or more U.S. marines, or keeping its own soldiers in Iraq for tours longer than one year. These are just some of the reasons why many experts worry that the Army, which has taken decades to evolve into what is generally regarded as the best in the world, could be on the verge of a stress fracture."

'As I watched him come in, he pulled out a gun,' said Sacry, of Bloomington. ... As the gunman watched a cashier about to open a cash register, Sacry struck.
