A disease that might not otherwise take off might could gain a foothold and spread. "He was running across the street, brandishing this baton in his hand, running at us. A few people actually thought that he was coming for them, but he ran over to a homemade seal that we had on the ground as part of our demonstration and he started whacking the ground by the seal."

Woman Find Tiger Head!

"The head is from a domestic white tiger, an endangered animal, according to police, who released more information on the Feb. 26 incident this week. It had fallen off the back of another truck near the intersection of routes 120 and 12 on the way to the taxidermist. Because the animal is so rare, the head is valued at more than $10,000, according to police."

"Predator X had a head twice the size of Tyrannosaurus rex and its bite had four times the force, at around 33,000 pounds over the whole jaw. Its teeth were each around 1 foot long. The remains were discovered in June 2008 during a two-week expedition led by Jørn Hurum of the Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo."

Donald Robert Alcock, 34, is facing trial for shooting Anthony Ross Knight in the back as the beekeeper slept at his home at Woodford, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, in May 2007. Mr Alcock has pleaded not guilty to Mr Knight's murder."
